Natalie & Dusty’s Beautiful Cleveland Tennessee Wedding at Candies Creek
There is something so special about an October wedding in East Tennessee. The changing seasons, the beautiful light, and the excitement of gathering with the people you love make fall wedding days some of my favorites.
Natalie and Dusty's Cleveland Tennessee wedding at Candies Creek was exactly that kind of day.
On Friday, October 2, these two gathered with approximately 160 of their favorite people to celebrate the beginning of their marriage. It was a warm October afternoon, and while the temperatures still felt a little like summer, the light was absolutely gorgeous.
From the moment we arrived, it was obvious that their friends and family were ready to celebrate. There was so much laughter, excitement, and genuine happiness surrounding these two throughout the entire day.
And we loved every minute of it!
A Beautiful October Wedding at Candies Creek
Natalie and Dusty chose Candies Creek in Georgetown, Tennessee, for their ceremony and reception. Located just outside Cleveland, this beautiful setting gave them the opportunity to gather their family and friends in one place for an unforgettable celebration.
Their ceremony began at 5:00 p.m. beneath the pavilion, surrounded by the people who had been part of their story long before their wedding day.
There is something incredibly meaningful about looking out at your wedding guests and seeing the faces of people who have encouraged you, supported you, and loved you through so many different seasons of life.
For Natalie and Dusty, that love was evident everywhere we looked.
Navy Blue, Gold, and Timeless Wedding Details
Natalie chose a classic navy blue and gold color palette for their wedding day, and it was such a beautiful combination for an October celebration.
Her five bridesmaids, Mia, McKaylee, Patience, Lydia, and Hannah, wore navy blue gowns that brought a timeless elegance to the day.
And Natalie?
She was absolutely beautiful.
Her Oleg Cassini wedding gown from David's Bridal was stunning on her. With hair by Cleo Mears and makeup by Megan Blount, her entire bridal look came together beautifully.
Dusty looked equally handsome in his cream suit from Men's Wearhouse. His four groomsmen, Colton, Blaine, Joey, and Jonathan, stood beside him as he prepared to marry the woman he loves.
I loved how their wedding colors complemented the warm October light and the natural surroundings of Candies Creek.
Surrounded by the People Who Love Them Most
One of my favorite things about Natalie and Dusty's wedding day was watching their people celebrate them.
Their wedding party was full of excitement, their families were incredibly happy, and their guests were ready to enjoy every moment.
Weddings are about so much more than beautiful dresses, flowers, and decorations. They are about the relationships that bring everyone together.
When you have 160 people gathered in one place to celebrate your marriage, it says something about the community of love and support surrounding you.
And Natalie and Dusty certainly have that.
Throughout the day, there were so many moments of laughter and genuine joy. Their friends were cheering them on, their families were soaking in the memories, and these two were simply enjoying the day they had been looking forward to.
The Most Beautiful October Light
Can we talk about the light for a minute?
Because it was gorgeous!
One of the things I love most about photographing a Cleveland Tennessee wedding in October is how beautiful the afternoon and evening light can be.
Even though the temperatures were warm, the sunshine gave us such a beautiful glow for Natalie and Dusty's portraits.
Those moments when we get to step away with a couple and photograph them together are always some of my favorites.
The anticipation of the ceremony has passed. The excitement of finally being married has settled in. And for a few minutes, the couple gets to enjoy being together before heading back to celebrate with everyone.
Natalie and Dusty were so much fun to photograph, and that beautiful October light made their portraits even sweeter.
A Celebration Filled With Fun
After their ceremony beneath the pavilion, it was time to celebrate!
With music from Dutty Laundry and a crowd full of people who genuinely love them, Natalie and Dusty's reception was filled with laughter and fun.
I love when couples allow themselves to enjoy their wedding day. After all the planning and anticipation, there is something wonderful about simply being present, laughing with your friends, hugging your family, and celebrating the fact that you're finally married.
That was the feeling throughout their reception.
Everyone was there for Natalie and Dusty, and it showed.
A Beautiful Beginning for Natalie and Dusty
Natalie and Dusty, thank you for allowing us to be part of your wedding day.
Your celebration at Candies Creek was such a beautiful reminder that the most memorable weddings are the ones filled with genuine love, incredible friendships, and people who are excited to celebrate the couple.
From your navy blue and gold details to the gorgeous October sunshine, your day was beautiful in so many ways.
But what we will remember most is how happy everyone was for you.
We are so grateful we had the opportunity to capture this chapter of your story and cannot wait to see all the wonderful things ahead for you both.
