Ashley & Jacob’s Elegant Whitestone Inn Wedding | Kingston, Tennessee
Ashley and Jacob’s wedding day at the Whitestone Inn in Kingston, Tennessee was one of those rare and radiant days that we’ll never forget—not just because of its beauty, but because of the deep connection we share with this couple. Ashley and Jacob were the first Knoxville couple to book us after our move to East Tennessee, and that made their day extra meaningful for us. From the first conversation to their final dance, they reminded us why we love what we do.
Nestled on the peaceful shores of Watts Bar Lake, the Whitestone Inn served as the perfect backdrop for their timeless and Christ-centered celebration. Rolling hills, elegant architecture, and quiet lake views made this intimate spring wedding feel like a fairy tale brought to life.
A Color Palette of Romance and Joy
Ashley chose a classic and romantic color palette of sage green, light pink, and navy, which paired beautifully with the natural tones of the property. Her bridesmaids were stunning in sage gowns, while Jacob and his groomsmen wore navy suits from Alain Dupetit, creating a look that was both traditional and fresh.
As photographers, we love when there’s a personal twist to the day—and Jacob gave us one we won’t forget. Before the ceremony, we asked him what he thought Ashley’s dress would look like. Without missing a beat, he grinned and said he was “100% sure it had sleeves.” So when Ashley stepped out in her sleeveless, fitted Madi Lane gown from White Lace and Promises, his face was priceless. She looked absolutely breathtaking, and her gown radiated elegance and grace in every step.
A Wedding Rooted in Faith and Friendship
We were especially honored that our pastor, Allen James, officiated the ceremony. It was a full-circle moment for us—to not only serve one of our first Knoxville couples but to do so alongside someone who has poured into our own family’s journey. Pastor Allen led a beautiful ceremony filled with laughter, sacred truth, and deep joy. The love between Ashley and Jacob was clear in every glance, every vow, and every prayer spoken over them.
