St. Simons Wedding Day :: Village Creek Landing

It was a beautiful day for a Golden Isles Wedding, in the heart of St. Simons Island, Georgia.

We had anticipated rain, but as the day went forward, we realized that their wedding day was going to be a calm and exciting day with very little rain, but a whole lot of fun!

Amber and Taylor’s wedding day was finally here! The excitement inside of the family and wedding party was building and the anticipation had all built up to this moment…their St. Simons Wedding Day had finally arrived and we were ready for a special day together.

We arrived at the home of Taylor's parents. The Crist home was built in the heart of the Golden Isles, on St. Simons Island. When we arrived, Amber and her bridesmaids were very busy getting ready and they looked amazing. We started photographing the Saint Simons Wedding of their dreams. As I photographed the details of the day, Josh headed over to the Sea Island Lodge to photograph the guys getting ready and having a little fun on the golf course. As you can imagine, the guys were already pumped and ready for some fun!

Once everyone was ready, it was time for Taylor to see Amber in her gorgeous lace gown. The moments before had built to this! Amber's hair was tied back perfectly with accents of florals and a beautiful custom veil that matched her lace gown. Taylor was so excited to see his bride in his handsome tuxedo and bow tie to match. This St. Simons Wedding was already full steam ahead once Taylor saw his bride. After seeing his bride on this St. Simons Wedding day, we enjoyed spending time with the couple and the full wedding party. Taylor's groomsmen were dressed in black tuxedos with accent green bow ties while Amber's girls chose individual gowns, with different natural green, gold, and silver accents to tie a bow around her perfect wedding day colors and match her style perfectly.

We continued capturing the family and wedding party before heading off to one of our favorite St. Simons Wedding Venues, Village Creek Landing. Stacy and her amazing crew had the property looking gorgeous for Amber and Taylor’s St. Simon's Wedding day.

Once arriving at Village Creek Landing, the wedding was set to start under a beautiful white tent adorned with gorgeous flowers by one of our new favorite floral vendors, Cathy from Fireflies Florals. This was also an exciting moment for us because Josh had the honor of marrying Taylor and Amber at Village Creek Landing. This makes a wedding day even more special when my guy is pronouncing our couples as husband and wife.

After the couple said “I do” on their St. Simons Wedding day, we made sure to capture some of the beautiful essence of this property in Saint Simons Island. Village Creek Landing is known for backing up to the beautiful marshlands of the Golden Isles, and on this specific day we could not resist the views with the overcast skies and perfect light.

Taylor and Amber we're so excited to finally be husband and wife. When sunset photographs were over we entered the beautiful and intimate reception area. They ate and drank and chatted with friends through the evening before hitting the dance floor with the family's favorite band.

At the end of the evening, the couple left their St. Simons Wedding in a car before heading back to the groom’s family home. Now this couple is celebrating their new marriage in Maui, but we can't resist sharing some of our favorite moments with them here. This St. Simons Wedding day will be one we remember for many years to come; new friends, new family, and a new Amy Cole couple to call our own.

Congratulations to the newest St. Simons Wedding day couple, Amber and Taylor. We loved spending this day with you and can't wait to see all that is in store in your new marriage.

We had a wonderful time with you guys! We are so excited to celebrate you both!

Congrats, Mr. and Mrs. Crist!
