Village Creek Landing :: Sallie + Tyler - St. Simons Island Wedding

A day at Village Creek Landing did not disappoint. It was our first time to experience this amazing venue since moving to St. Simons Island and we are excited about capturing many more days at this venue.

It was perfect to experience this day with Sallie and Tyler. We think they’re an amazing couple and their day was wrapped in dreams and magic…at least, that’s what it felt like to us, and them.

The day started so peacefully! Sallie gathered with her best friends and family and enjoyed the morning of getting ready. When she arrived at Village Creek Landing, she was so excited and ready to see her groom.

We photographed the amazing details she had gathered and then headed toward a fun day! But oh man, the details! We can’t wait to show you the special things that Sallie gathered to remember this special day.

The day was beginning to unfold. The girls had arrived in their beautiful lilac dresses, the groomsmen arrived looking dapper in black tuxedos, and the day had begun.

We quickly got Sallie in her gorgeous gown and the day was unfolding. First up, the first look on the beautiful grounds of Village Creek Landing. The sun was bright and the day was perfection. Seriously, coastal Georgia was showing off for the love story these two are writing.

And just like that, the day was beginning. Village Creek is the most amazing nook in the middle of St. Simons Island. I joked all day that it was a hidden gem. We took the wedding party out on the grounds for some formal photographs and even captured the bride and groom in the amazing 2PM light. The whole day didn’t disappoint, but neither did this wedding party.

Their friends and family were so relaxed and chill and everyone was full of joy. I think that is a testimony to how much love Sallie and Tyler share with those around them, and also how much love is sent their way.

Joy was definitely the word of the day and it was full and bright on this Village Creek Landing wedding day.

After family formals, it was time!

The official moment was here and all of the guest were ready!

Tyler and Bradley, his best man, headed in on a boat and it was a moment where all of the guest gasped. It was perfect and so beautiful to see this groom heading towards his bride. The minister joked that the bride always gets her moment, but that day, Tyler got his moment too.

Here comes the bride! Sallie came down the aisle with her Dad and it was beautiful to watch him in awe of her. The ceremony was perfect and these two walked back down the aisle smiling from ear to ear.

We headed to one of our favorite spots, after the ceremony…Christ Church.

This church and the light there never disappoint. We were so excited to jump in the car and head over to this beautiful spot. The formals speak for themselves! The light, the love…it was all magic. After we finished at the church, we quickly headed back to Village Creek Landing because this crew was ready to dance the night away!

The party started and we were ready to go!

We love how much fun their friends and family had as they danced the night away at Village Creek Landing.

They had so much fun and we loved watching and photographing the love in the air. It was definitely a party and evening to remember.

We wrapped up our day at Village Creek Landing with a shaker send off before the bride and groom hoped in their beautiful getaway car and headed to Cabo. But before they left, we captured one more minute of their love story and their friends cheering them on!

Congratulations, Mr. and Mrs. Pierce! Goodness we loved spending the day with you at Village Creek Landing. We love you, your family and friends, and we are so thankful we got to spend this amazing time with you!

Sallie and Tyler! We absolutely love you!!! Enjoy your time and we wish you many years of love and happy memories!
