A Rome, Georgia Wedding Day :: Proctor Farms

There is something so sweet about heading home, to Rome, Georgia, to photograph a beautiful wedding day. This time, we were capturing a very special day for someone we have loved for a very long time.

Rome, Georgia never disappoints. It doesn’t matter how long you’ve been away. Coming home is purely perfect and this day with Carrie Beth and Jonathan was no exception.

Carrie Beth chose an elegant, long-sleeved gown for her wedding day love story. I will admit that after posting sneak peeks, this was the thing I was message most about; a summer bride in a long sleeve gown. Most brides would’ve struggled, but CB was perfectly happy and in love with her gown and it was perfect for her special day! That doesn’t mean we didn’t sweat a lot…because we sure did.

We loved her attention to each of her details and we loved photographing the special things she had chosen for her perfect day.

They are ready! It was the time they had both been waiting for…the first look! They were so excited and it was such a special moment to see their love story of a day begin.

After the first look and many couple portraits, we headed into some fun with the wedding party! I loved that they had chosen their most special people to be around them. Cousins, sisters, brothers…they had placed the family, that they’ll stand beside and cheer on for years to come, around them. It was an amazing day watching their people love and cheer for them.

After family formals, it was officially time!

The sun was fierce as Carrie Beth walked down the aisle, but nothing was going to stop the joy as she met her groom and her parent’s gave her away. The ceremony was so intimate and special and we loved seeing our ministry friend marry them! Shout out to Jarrod Roberts for being a pretty awesome friend and pastor. He definitely loves people, and this couple, well!

After their ceremony, we headed out for intimate portraits with this newlywed couple!

These two have the most epic posing faces and I love it, but I will see there was a LOT of joy coming from those smiles because they were finally married!!!

Into the reception we go! Proctor Farms was glowing and all a buzz with excitement to see the newly married couple! After many dances, some yummy cake cutting, and dinner…they danced the night away with their friends and family!

At the end of the night we had an intimate send off and the rose petal option is seriously my favorite!!!

The day ended as perfectly as it started! No rain, all sunshine and the most amazing (and hot) summer day!

They are now Mr. and Mrs. Skokan!

Congratulations, Jonathan and Carrie Beth!

We are so happy for you!
