A pretty perfect and magical day in Birmingham, Alabama. We started as an Alabama Wedding Photographer and it was amazing to get back to the light we love. We loved arriving to this most gorgeous location for our sweet bride and groom. Mark and Mallory chose Windwood Equestrian as their fairytale location for their married love story to begin. Birmingham has amazing venues and this one was top of the magical list.

We arrived to the most amazing Birmingham weather. Was it hot? Sure? But, there is nothing better than beautiful sunshine on a glorious wedding day.

This venue is wrapped in charm and the horses were there to show off for the event too!

We started with all of Mallory’s perfect details. We loved her suite by Empress Stationary and Jan from Gilmer Weddings was already full steam ahead setting up the magnificent reception area.

We were taking our time and photographing all of the most amazing spots. Mallory’s girls were so excited to be beside her on her special day. They were all smiles and looked stunning. Mark had his Dad by his side, as Best Man, and truly there is no greater moment than seeing a father and son together for a beautiful memory.

It was time, the first look was at hand and we walked down a path so Mark could see his future wife. Mallory’s dress, by Bella’s Bridal. was made for her and the bow on the back was definitely the icing on the cake for this Birmingham, Alabama bride. It definitely made this Alabama Wedding Photographer happy!

We love an amazing bridesmaid gown and Mal picked the perfect ones. The green complemented the venue so well and her girls looked amazing.

We enjoyed capturing all of the special moments and looks between friends; it’s definitely what helps an Alabama Wedding Photographer on a wedding day. The southern charm and beautiful venue was a classic backdrop for some stunning images.

Of course we captured those special guys, in between some touchdowns and football scores, of course. And the parents were beaming with pride as their children began their life together. It truly was a special day to photograph the Morrison and Thatcher families.

Before taking a minute to breathe, we capture the most romantic car with our couple. This car belongs inside of Mallory’s family and it was a beautiful a regal touch to her magical day.

I mean, did Jan not outdo herself? Look at this spectacular venue and the florals were amazing. This was a dream and the Alabama Wedding Photographer inside of me was jumping with joy and the beauty she created!

We quickly headed down to the ceremony site, after a little break and prayer, and the time was theirs. It was the moment everyone had gathered, Mark and Mallory were about to say, “I do.”

After a romantic and sunlit ceremony, we headed off to chase the sunset. Nothing like chasing sun for this Alabama Wedding Photographer.

There is nothing more special than those first moments as husband and wife. We can’t resist those photographs and my Alabama Wedding Photographer heart was definitely in overdrive as we captured their love for one another.

The perfect reception was ahead and all of the people and food and cakes were in place.

The crowd gathered to welcome Mallory and Mark and they ate, drank, and had a blast spending time with this new couple.

Mark and Mallory’s day was one we will never forget. It was full of fun and laughter. We wish them many years of married happiness together!

Congrats, Mr. and Mrs. Thatcher! You’re married!!!
