Some couples walk into your life as clients and leave as friends. Tim and Heather are absolutely one of those couples.
From the first time we spent together at their engagement session to the final moments of their wedding day, we have loved getting to know these two. They are kind, fun, thoughtful, and simply wonderful to be around. Even more telling is the way their family and friends love them. Everywhere we looked on their wedding day, someone was laughing with them, encouraging them, or simply soaking in the joy of watching these two become husband and wife.
Their beautiful Pavilion at Hunter Valley wedding in Knoxville was the perfect celebration of their love story.
A Beautiful Knoxville Wedding Venue
We absolutely love photographing weddings at the Pavilion at Hunter Valley. There are so many beautiful spaces throughout the property for couples to create a wedding day that feels completely their own.
From gorgeous spaces for portraits to areas for gathering with family and friends, the venue gave Tim and Heather the perfect backdrop for their celebration. Every part of the day felt romantic, welcoming, and intimate.
And the light? So good!
We had so much fun exploring the property with these two and capturing all the little moments that made their day uniquely theirs.
Dusty Blues and Timeless Details
Heather and Tim chose dusty and light blues to accent their wedding day, creating a soft and romantic color palette that worked beautifully throughout the venue.
Heather was absolutely stunning in her Stella York gown from White Lace and Promises. It was elegant, romantic, and so perfectly Heather.
Tim looked incredibly handsome in his custom tux from Gallo Men's Clothier. Together, these two were picture perfect, but what we loved most wasn't what they were wearing. It was how happy they were simply standing beside each other.
You could see the excitement in every glance.
A Wedding Party Filled With Their Favorite People
One of our favorite details about this wedding was who Tim and Heather chose to stand beside them.
Heather surrounded herself with close family members, while Tim's adult children stood proudly on his side.
There was something incredibly meaningful about seeing the people who know and love them best standing beside them as they made this commitment. This wasn't simply about two people beginning a marriage. It was about families joining together and celebrating the next chapter of life as one.
The love surrounding them was so real.
A Couple We Adore
By the time Tim and Heather's wedding day arrived, they didn't feel like clients anymore.
They felt like friends.
That's one of my favorite parts of what we get to do. We spend so much time getting to know our couples before their wedding that when the big day finally arrives, we're genuinely excited for them. We know pieces of their story. We know their personalities. We've laughed together and talked about what they're most excited about.
And then we get the privilege of watching it all happen.
Tim and Heather were relaxed, joyful, and completely present throughout their day. They laughed. They celebrated. They loved on their people. And most importantly, they kept coming back to each other.
Those are the wedding days we love most.
The Beginning of Something Beautiful
Tim and Heather, we couldn't be happier for you.
The love you share is evident, but so is the friendship underneath it. Watching the two of you together makes it easy to imagine the incredible journey ahead.
