Oak Orchard Wedding :: Michelle and Joshua
Their love story is written in a beautiful setting of Spanish moss and beautiful trees!
We loved our day with Michelle and Joshua. They started their day at Oak Orchard. We had never been to this beautiful venue, but it’s just a dreamy landscape of creation.
The day started with getting ready and details. The area outside of Oak Orchard is stunning and even though the sun wasn’t shining super bright, the love for these two definitely were shining.
I loved photographing Michelle’s engagement ring and special necklace from her grandmother. Her sister was an Amy-Cole bride back in the fall, and they both have the most fun style.
The dress hanging in the moss is probably my favorite detail of all. There is nothing like South GA Spanish moss!
They day was prepared and Michelle had spent so much time preparing for her special day. She created so many special moments and it was magic listening to her laugh with her mom, sister, and daughter.
We quickly headed into the first look with Joshua and the long walk down the aisle was perfection for these two and their love story. Oak Orchard is a gorgeous backdrop for a wedding day and it definitely did not disappoint for this perfect first look.
After some formal photographs at Oak Orchard, we headed to downtown Brunswick and the old courthouse. This is a spot I have wanted to photograph for a very long time. It was a pretty perfect spot for more photographs and their wedding ceremony. And you know I am a sucker for some dusty blue gowns.
These two were married by the judge and their friends and family watched on with love.
After some beautiful images at the courthouse, we headed back over to Oak Orchard for their much anticipated reception with friends and family. It was like a reunion. And can we just talk about how yummy the cake was from Holloways? It was amazing.
The kids danced and the family and friends had time to catch up over dinner.
There is nothing like being surrounded by the people who love you most!
It really was a perfect day for Michelle and Joshua! We could not be more happy for these two and sweet Kennedi and Gaines, as they start their life together!!!
