Jekyll Island Wedding on St. Andrews Beach

A perfect wedding day on St. Andrews Beach and Jekyll Island. Isabel and Benjamin chose a place that captured their heart and soul for their magical and special day.

This Jekyll Island Wedding was surrounded by family and friends, and most importantly, their faith in Jesus.

Enjoy a scroll through their magical day and we will tell you the amazing parts of the story you will not want to miss about this Jekyll Island Wedding.

Isabel and Benjamin met at church. That’s my favorite way to start a love story on the Amy-Cole blog. It’s the same way Josh and I met so I love when we meet a young couple and their story starts the same way.

They feel in love and Benjamin asked Isabel to marry him. That’s where we come in. We met them on the island, this past Saturday, for their sweet and beautiful Jekyll Island Wedding. Isabel’s mom has vacationed here all of her life, which means Isabel has done the same. This was the perfect spot for her to begin her love story in married life, with Benjamin.

The choose the amazing St. Andrews Beach to say their vows, worship, and commit their life together.

Here is a short blurb to tell you more about St. Andrews:

This beach park is a short walk from Jekyll Point, the southern-most tip of the Island. It’s a popular spot for watching migratory birds as well as groups of dolphins. The beach park features a two-story wildlife viewing platform and the Wanderer Memory Trail.

You can see why we loved capturing their day here. We have shoot many engagements on this beautiful spot,. but never a wedding day. It was perfect.

Another amazing thing about Jekyll Island is the locations to anything. Jekyll makes a complete circle around the island and so you can ride bikes and have an adventure anywhere. Isabel loves that part of Jekyll and says her family has rode bikes on this island for many years. You can image what a treat it was to be married on this sacred spot, for her and her family.

As we finished the ceremony and headed the reception, these two chose a perfect spot along the ocean line to dance the afternoon away with their friends and family. We headed to the Great Dunes Beach Deck for yummy food, cake, and lots of laughter and smiles with friends and family.

These two had a blast seeing and mingling with all of the people that they love.

As the afternoon ended, this Jekyll Island wedding was perfection as they walked about to bubbles and cheers from their guest.

The best part, these two didn't have to leave the island. They decided it was a perfect spot for a Thanksgiving week they will never forget.

Isabel and Benjamin, we loved capturing your Jekyll Island Wedding and hope to see you many more times through the years. Congrats and have the best time being married. It’s such a beautiful gift to spend your life with the one you love!
