It was a beautiful and cloudy day in the North Georgia Mountains, but Vezalay and Dahlonega were showing off. We had been anticipating this North Georgia Wedding for quite a while. Not only was this a special couple, but they came to us from another Amy Cole couple…and that just makes my heart more happy that anything.

This beautiful day was not only much anticipated by us, but this couple had been waiting what seemed a lifetime to share this special moment in front of their friends and family.

Their North Georgia Wedding day was finally here. And while I know I am the photographer here…these images are truly magical for me. It’s like this wedding brought me back to life. Get ready!

Everything was exciting when we arrived to this perfect North Georgia Wedding venue. Vezalay is a scenic mountain venue with views that make you swoon. Victoria and Garrett had picked a perfect spot for their vows. But first, all of the details.

Victoria went all in on the special details of this wedding day. Her choice of green really was perfect for a winter wedding in the North Georgia mountains.

After we photographed all of the special details, we quickly got the bride and groom ready for their special moment together. Victoria’s very best friend helped her get ready and put all of her special jewelry on. There is a special moment where I photographed her best friend (and practically sister) grabbing her arm as if to say…it’s here! You made it! As I was culling down images for the sneak peek, that image captured the most beautiful moment between friends. Scroll down to see this most special moment for Victoria and Rachel.

After getting ready, the time was here! This North Georgia Wedding was ready to take off. The first look was next and Garrett was in tears as Victoria came behind him. Their first look was a magical moment. Garrett loves her so much and Victoria loves him. The landscape view of the North Georgia Mountains only made this magical moment better.

After they read their vows and had some time together, the girls and the guys came out to love this couple well. This wedding party would rank in my all time top 20. And that says a lot when you’ve captured over 380 wedding days. This wedding party loved this couple so well and cheered them on. I looked at Josh when we left and said, “is it just me, or was that one of the easiest and calmest wedding days we’ve ever captured?” He agreed.

The ceremony hour was near and it was time to get these two love birds married on this North Georgia Wedding day. As she walked down the aisle to her groom, he smiled and prepared to take her hand. They looked out at the many friends and family that came to be with them and then smiled again at one another. They had made it. Their North Georgia Wedding day was finally here and many was it beautiful. I am usually a sucker for some golden sunlight, but this cloudy day gave us all the magic we needed. After the ceremony, we captured a few more sweet moments, a fun leave with the wedding party, and then it was time! This couple was ready to dance the night away, eat cookies and yummy food, drink champagne, and have a lot of fun. And we did have a LOT of fun!

I will look back on this North Georgia Wedding day very fondly, for many years to come. It gave me a fresh start to a new year, and this couple was the perfect couple to celebrate beside.
