A Summer Wedding on Lake Neely Henry, Alabama
The wedding of Calley Compton and Craig Granger, Lake Neely Henry in Ohatchee, Alabama.
We love celebrating a wedding day in Alabama. This is where we started our business and we truly enjoy going back to see so many friends and special vendors. This day was no different! We were shooting the wedding day of a dear friend, who happens to be the cousin of one of our favorite Amy-Cole couples, Dustin and Katie Rosser.
When Calley called me back ONE MONTH ago asking if we had her date available for a small and intimate microwedding, I was so thrilled when my answer could be YES! She booked us that day and we started to plan her quick turnaround. Within one month, she planned everything with her amazing mom and aunt, and they brought out some of the most amazing vendors, too!
As Calley and I talked about her day, she kept saying how awkward she is in pictures and then I sit down to edit her wedding day sneak peek and I realize she meant to say how stunning she is. Her natural life, the way Craig makes her smile, and they’re giddiness over being married was truly infectious. We were all having the best time and the day flew by so quickly.
To make the day even more perfect, her aunt and uncle opened their beautiful home for the wedding day affair and, as you will see, it was absolutely perfect!
You all know I am a sucker from dusty blue gowns and details so Calley was pretty much the most perfect bride of all brides and was willing to try anything fun we wanted to capture!
We are so honored to have captured their special day and be part of their lives.
Congratulations, Mr. and Mrs. Granger! You two are quite the amazing and fun pair and we wish you all of the happiness in the whole world!
Enjoy a sneak peek of their lakeside day!
