Atlanta Botanical Gardens Wedding

What a beautiful wedding day at the Atlanta Botanical Gardens in Atlanta, Georgia! Erin and Jay are seriously those kind of people that you can be friends with forever! Our day was full of magic, so get ready for their exciting love story of a day!

Erin and Jay had been planning their special wedding day for a while. Unfortunately, Covid forced us to move their day to September after we knew their May 9 dates wasn’t going to happen. The closer we got the more we stayed in touch and we realized their day was going to look a little different than we had been planning. Honestly, I don’t think any of us were sad about it because we captured pure magic for their wedding. I am not talking about the fake kind of magic, I am talking about the everywhere you looked, it was all around you.

Erin’s mom passed late last year and I feel like God gifted Erin and Jay the most beautiful and dreamy day to honor their love and the love they had for Erin’s mom. The more I think about it, the more emotional I get. I know Erin was the same. Erin had the sweetest pendant attached to her bouquet to remember her mom and don’t miss the photographs of it below. Every time I see it I am reminded of how precious life is and how important it is to tell those you love just how much you love them.

Now, on to Jay! He is the most genuine groom and when we left their day, Josh looked right at me and said, “II love when a groom loves his bride the way Jay loves her.” It’s not that we don’t think our groom’s love our brides. They truly do, but sometimes you come across a magical couple and Jay and Erin are definitely that for us.

The Atlanta Botanical Gardens was a true dream to capture.

We had a blast working with Allie and William of Bowman and Clark. A bucket list moment fulfilled and I will never be over the venue or our couple!

An anniversary celebration, September 5, 2021:

We had been waiting for this moment for so long! A reunion with Erin and Jay to capture another day of their love story! We adore this couple and so it was perfect to get to capture them once again, on their first anniversary!

Their family and friends were finally able to attend! The laughted, enjoyed food and amazing drinks, a buffet that was outstanding, and so much more!

The love was in the air!

As Jay and Erin entered the long awaited reception, everyone was on their feet to cheer for them and congratulate them! How was already one year?

This couple enjoyed a much needed and relaxing evening with their friends and family, and I must say…I am so glad we didn’t miss either of their wedding days. We adore these two!
