Villa Marianna Wedding on Jekyll Island

A Jekyll Island wedding is so much fun! Add a little flare at Villa Marianna and it’s just magic!

We loved capturing this magical day for Kate and Austin. They came to the island all the way from Missouri and so it was so honoring to capture their perfect Jekyll Island Wedding.

A fun twist on their details. We fell in love with the floor right outside the door to their Airbnb home and it matched their day perfectly. So, I grabbed the shoes and flowers and all the special things and headed to that exact spot.

This Jekyll Island wedding was full of fun and laughter from the moment we arrived.

Once we finished getting our bride and groom ready, we headed over to the most perfect spot at Villa Marianna. Designs by Jeana Rutledge had a pretty amazing day lined up for these two and boy, it did not disappoint. There is truly something about an island wedding. The couple is always ready to have a good time and this Jekyll Island wedding couple was ready to do just that. Fun was in store!

After formals, and before the groom saw his bride, we headed over to Driftwood Beach. If you’ve been here a while, you know this spot is one of my most favorite locations to capture. This day was full of sun and Jeana’s husband scoped out this spot long before the wedding day was set to begin.

When we arrived, we knew this would be the perfect place for Austin and Kate to say, “I do”, and boy, were we right. They had lined the aisle was gorgeous rugs. the big driftwood tree standing tall in the blue sky on this Jekyll Island wedding day.

It was time, the bride had arrived and Austin turned to see her walk down the sandy aisle!

And just like that, Mr. and Mrs. Salerno were called man and wife, and we had a blast photographing them on our favorite Jekyll Island wedding beach.

After those photographs, we headed over to Villa Marianna where everyone was waiting to greet them. But first, we had to capture them in this magical spot.

I had envisioned some of these images in my head all day long.

The light was right and it was time to make some Jekyll Island wedding dreams come true in front of the gorgeous Villa Marianna. I think you’ll agree, it did not disappoint.

This one stopped me in my tracks! The most perfect end to formals was this image. Aren’t they perfect?

We headed into the reception from cocktail hour and goodness, what a beautiful sight. Jeana and her team did not disappoint and create the most amazing reception space for this beautiful couple!

Lots of fun, lots of drinks, and lots of dancing…but the best part, lots of smiles!

We are kinda sad these two don’t live close by. We really enjoyed their wedding day and had so much fun capturing their love story!

Congrats Mr. and Mrs. Salerno! You are married! And it was the most perfect Jekyll Island Wedding day!
